Pipelines are both approx 800km long.

Scope - Management contract - Marine Terminal (MT) Facilities for the CPC Pipeline Project, from preparation of TEOC, through permits, engineering, procurement, and construction management to 75% completion. Ongoing - first oil scheduled Sept. 2001. Budget $700MM
The facilities included
shore facility with power generation, transfer meters, master control of total pipeline system, shore protection and a small boat shelter,
9 Km of 56 inch dia. gravity feed line from the tank farm to shore facility,
3 ea. 42 inch offshore pipelines, two PLEM's and SPM loading buoys installed,
Tank farm comprised of four 100,000 cubic meter capacity tanks, power generation, and fire fighting facilities, crude oil topping unit.
The site preparation civil works required the management of Russian design Institutes and approval agencies, and movement of 4 million cubic meters of rock.

5 strings of Solar/Dresser Rand two stage turbine/compressors 8.1 scm/day at 2000psi, fuel gas compressors, glycol treatment units, three strings of Solar/Ideal turbine/generators - 2.8 Megawatt
The work was completed on schedule and to the agreed cost.

Saudi ARAMCO Zuluf Field Increase Capacity - Offshore Oil and Gas Facilities Refurbishment Project, Oil Company, Saudi Arabia (1991 - 1993)
Al Khobar and Tanajib , Saudi Arabia
Scope - Detail design, de-mothball rebuild and refurbish through mechanical completion,
Facilities included - four existing Platform complexes in the Zuluf field totaling 18 platforms. This project increased production from 990 MBCD dry crude to 1200 with 10% water cut and 500 SCF/STB total GOR. It changed the process and operating pressures for Arabian Medium replacing the existing Arabian Heavy crude process, install DCS system using Honeywell TC 3000 including wellhead IRTU's with SCADA radio on existing oil and gas wellhead platforms. The project cost $260 million and was completed on schedule and within budget.

Broadgate Project, Rosehaugh Stanhope Development plc (RSD)
Scope - Directed and coordinated RSD Project Management team in the execution of all aspects of the project from conceptual design, through to tenant occupation of the buildings completed to shell and core.
Represented the project to the British Rail (BR) Property Board, the funding bank syndicates, BR Operating Divisions and RSD Main Board
Facilities - Broadgate is a new financial district in the City of London comprised of 14 buildings, totaling 5,000,000 square feet. It is a joint development between Rosehaugh plc and Stanhope plc in partnership with the British Rail Board. The scope of the project included: fund, design, planning approval, construct to the stage of shell and core, lease, assist occupation and manage the estate of the completed office buildings, squares, Leisure Center and retail areas of the new facilities created around and over the tracks and 18 platforms at Liverpool Street Station, London. Included $300MM refurbishment of Liverpool St Station with out halting rail traffic. The total project cost was $2000 million. All stages were completed within agreed budget and schedules. All buildings are leased or sold.

Houston , USA ; Koje island, Korea
Scope - Detail design through load-out and tow-away. All work was completed, on schedule and tested in Korea before sail away to Malaysia for installation.
Facilities - two 4-leg platforms for 210 feet of water, comprising respectively a 24 and 42 slot jacket, each with piles, module support frame, production, services and helideck modules.
Oasis Oil Company. Libya , Single Point Mooring and Harbor Development
Scope - Management of conceptual design, procurement, construction management and inspection for crude oil load-out facilities and service boat harbor development.
Facilities - single-point mooring buoy, 56 inch diameter offshore pipeline and related control systems, harbor dredging and shore side marine harbor development works.
Dansk Boreselskab A/S, Denmark - Gorm Field development Offshore Oil Production Facilities,
London , UK ; Copenhagen , Alborg Denmark ;
Scope - Engineering, procurement and construction management services for Gorm field topsides Facilities. Oil production and service modules. The contract was completed and handed over at "ready for tow" out to the field.
Statoil , Norway - Statpipe Project - Offshore Gas Pipeline and Riser Platforms,
London , UK ; Stavanger , Norway ; Nigg Scotland , Verdal , Norway
Scope - Management Contract. Included Conceptual design, contract preparation, steel procurement, through fabrication load-out and tie-down.
Facilities - 2 complete sets of gas riser platforms, production and living quarters modules, tripod and connecting bridges. Project schedule and yard capacities required three concurrent sites in Norway and one each in Japan, Holland and Scotland for jackets and two concurrent module yards in Norway for the modules plus six Steel mills production. The project was the first to lay pipe in 1000 feet of water across the North Sea Norwegian trench.
All contracts were completed on schedule and within budget.

Arab American Oil Co., Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia (ARAMCO)- Saudi Arabian Gas Program (SAGP) Offshore LPG Loading Platform and Metering Facilities,
Scope - Construction and Contract Administration
Facilities - twin berth offshore loading platform and facilities at Ju'Aymah to berth, meter and load LPG carriers from 25 MCM to 200 MCM at rates up to 50 MBPH of Propane and 30 MBPH of Butane. Included multi-platform fabrication, with modularized decks and control building, tow, installation, hook-up, and commissioning assistance. Fabrication was performed in Dubai and Japan. Construction cost was approximately $100 million. The work was completed within budget and on schedule to meet programmed shipping loadouts.

Scope - Lump sum jacket fabrication project for ESSO-BPH. Scope included mobilization, detail design, fabrication, erection, testing, labor and client relations.
Facilities - 360 feet Mackerel template and 250 feet Tuna template, piles and conductors totaling approximately 11,000 ton steel weight.

FLUOR DANIEL, MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA (1971 - 1972)
PROJECT ENGINEER
Preparation of proposals to major clients for feasibility studies through engineering and construction services for Gas Plant, Coal and Uranium mine developments. Lump Sum tenders included major highways in Australia and Fiji, sewerage plant and railways.

Scope - Owner's representative -. approve all layouts, review, and monitor detail engineering, review and approve materials, equipment, inspect and approve construction quality through design to sea trials and final acceptance
Facilities - "Ocean Prospector", the world's first semi-submersible, self-propelled offshore drilling rig, built at Mitsubishi Shipyard, Hiroshima, Japan. The basic design concept and specification was provided by the home office, in New Orleans. The 11,000 ton rig was delivered on schedule and within budget.

Scope - site construction engineering and false work design
Facilities - Lump sum construction contract of the Medway Bridge near Rochester Kent, U.K. 500ft cast in place center span, constructed as balanced cantilever with continuous side spans each 200ft totaling 2000 ft using sliding forms for all in-situ pours, and Macalloy post tension - stressing system.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Copenhagen, Denmark
Scope - Structural engineer in home office. Conceptual and detail design including research through to client approval of the calculation of pre-stressing cable friction losses over long continuous structures during design of pre-cast post tensioned concrete tunnel elements.
Facility - Lump Sum design and construction Contract - 500 meter long reinforced post-tensioned concrete tunnel under the Schelde River at Antwerp, Belgium, The tunnel was fabricated in five precast sections each 100m x 20m x 10m, weighing approximately 45,000 tons each. These were floated into a prepared trench position in the river bed. The scope for the lump sum design and construction contract included tunnel and retaining works, engineering, fabrication, float-out, assembly, de-watering and internal rail and road works construction.

Scope - site investigate, design, contract construction of pipeline Cathodic Protection Scheme
Facility - 45 mile pipeline cathodic protection scheme using sacrificial anodes and impressed current system through volcanic rock area. Pipeline transported all products from the main Shell refinery in Geelong to the tank farm outside Melbourne.
