PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS


• Formulated strategies and processes for product management, requirement management and project management of a next-generation e-business product for a major IT infrastructure vendor. Trained and mentored product managers, project managers and business analysts on the multimillion dollar and multiyear project. The system was audited by Accenture in 2001 and received a high rating relative to the industry. 12/00- 5/02

• Designed an Input-Output analytical framework for value chain management for Honda America Manufacturing. Completed a pilot project of this microeconomics application with the senior managers on site. 8/01- 9/01

• Led the redesign of a production planning and scheduling system for Honda America Manufacturing. The new system was able to reduce the real-time planning cycle from 3 days to 2 days on a monthly basis for the major production lines at Marysville, US. 8/01- 9/01

• Defined the core B2B model based on market research for an e-Commerce vendor during the time when the vendor transferred its business from B2C into B2B area. The model allowed the vendor to customize their packages effectively for different customers in the following two years. 4/00- 5/00

• Managed report development for a global insurance company implementing a package solution to manage policies in Eastern Europe and South America. Led the requirement collection, analysis, report design, and system architecture of the multi-language reporting system. 12/99- 3/00

• Led the design and implementation of a bus fare information process for a public transportation company. Created and implemented a financial framework that linked the quality of technical data processing to financial performance of the company for the CFO. 8/99- 12/99

• Created a cash flow administrative process and tools for the corporate controller of a major tool manufacturer with billion-dollar annual sales. Audited inventory and sales reporting system. Designed a sales analysis process for a senior financial manager. 3/99- 6/99

• Led market research in South America for one of the major US glassmakers. Created the analytical model and designed the statistical process for this study. Made recommendations to the company for entry strategy. 9/97- 12/97

• Designed and prototyped the computerized management module of production planning and scheduling for the Maanshan Iron and Steel Company, China. 8/85- 12/87
