Consulting and Software Development, management consulting, system implementation, and development of software products. Recent or current engagements include:

Systems analysis and design of a real time Continuous Air Emissions Monitoring System for cement manufacturing plants

Systems analysis and design of a HACCP Hazard management system for the food processing industry.

Control and Information Sytems Master Planning for a world scale citrus processor.

Business analysis, design, and project management for implementation of a clinical prescription writing and pharmacy dispensing system involving pen computers and client-server technology.

Implementation of the Arcview Geographical Information System (GIS) for a managed care organization to select optimum locations for medical providers, based on the residential patterns of its HMO/PPO members.

Process re-engineering and feasibility analysis of automation alternatives for the marketing support and proposal writing activities of a $70 million paper products manufacturer.

Management of software development for an electronic pharmacy claims submittal system. Developed project plan and coordinated activities of the company's IS staff in rapid implementation of PC/UNIX/VAX system components that enables the client to process pharmacy plan card-based transactions through the Argus value-added network.

Design and implementation of a Windows-based software package for the issuance, inspection activities, and tracking of building and land use permits for a newly incorporated suburb of Seattle.

Development of a system to track the production costs for a $300 million forms printing company.

Designed, implemented, and currently marketing RapidRegis software for the management of governmental regulations, codes, and other large documents.

Completed codification of five large ordinances for the City of Houston, Texas.

Currently implementing similar systems in Madison, Vero Beach, a Chicago suburb and Arlington, Texas.

Information systems management and consulting organization providing strategic information system consulting, IS organizational development services, and software development.

Senior Account Executive
Performed executive search services for information systems professionals in middle and senior management. Recruited IS directors and chief information officers for over 15 companies including Firestone, Eagle Food Centers, Bradley Printing Co., Pepper Construction Co., and Handy Andy Home Improvement Centers.

Also served as a major participant in the firm's IS consulting activities, developing new business and managing projects for Harris Trust and Savings, Brooks Beverage Management, and Allscrips Pharmaceuticals.

STANLEY CONSULTANTS, INC. (June 1969 to May 1986)

International consultants in engineering, architecture, planning , and management. Offices in six American cities and other facilities in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Director of Marketing/Business Development (June 84 - May 86 )
Managed a seven-person marketing support staff responsible for business research activities, new business prospecting, and preparation of proposals. Served as coordinator/facilitator for a marketing strategy team. The ideas and plans generated by this group became major factors contributing to the eventual turnaround of the company, rebounding from the loss of business in the depressed steel and electric power generating industries.

Company shareholder and ESOP board member.
During this period, also functioned as a Business Development Manager for industrial clients in the Upper Midwest. Responsible for client relationships, new business development, team leadership, and project management of multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural engagements.

Managed planning studies, economic feasibility analyses, and environmental assessments for major military, public and private sector infrastructure projects in the U.S. and Middle East.
