SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:

Over thirty years of overall experience, twenty years directly related to oil and gas production facilities both onshore and offshore, gas and liquids pipelines, terminals and product distribution facilities including sour and acid gas requirements. Five years experience in Chemical and Petrochemical Plants, and five years experience in infrastructure design for governmental and industrial clients.

 

SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE:

Oil and Gas Production Facilities - Responsibilities have included overall project management, engineering management, construction, and various staff positions for domestic and overseas assignments located in Europe , South America , Far East and Middle East . Gas production facilities have included separation, dehydration, dew point suppression for sweet and sour gas facilities located both onshore and offshore. Oil production facilities have included drilling and production platforms, high pour point crude, water flood, desalting and crude stabilization facilities.

 

Pipeline and Terminal Projects - Responsibilities have included engineering management, and staff positions for domestic and overseas assignments located in South America . Projects have included gas pipelines and compressor stations, product pipelines and pumping stations, and terminal facilities for product distribution, crude oil loading and storage facilities.

 

Chemical and Petrochemical Facilities - Responsibilities have included engineering management, construction and various staff positions for polypropylene, Sulfuric Acid, Bauxite dying and loading facilities, Alumina loading facilities, dust collection systems and carbon black plants. Specified and sized pumps, belt conveyors, bulk elevators, air conveyors and bag filters.

 

Infrastructure Facilities - Responsibilities included project engineering, and construction for temporary housing facilities for construction personnel for the Prudhoe Bay facilities, fuel distribution systems, water and sewage treatment plants, hurricane protection facilities, flood protector facilities and commercial buildings.

 

FLUOR DANIEL Inc., (1986 - Present)

 

PROJECT ENGINEER

 

Responsible for engineering and construction planning for modifications and de-bottle necking a four pile drilling and bridge connected eight pile process platform in the South China Sea. The platform was design to produce 350 MMSCFD of gas with a hydrocarbon dew point of -40 degrees F. De-bottle necking including the installation of new vessel internals for production separators and glycol contactors. Addition of produced water treatment equipment and other piping modifications to existing facilities.

 

PROJECT MANAGER/ENGINEER

 

Conceptual study, cost estimate and layout for a barge mounted LNG facility. Design basis used was 3 million MTPY production of LNG and NGL using APC MCR.

 

PROJECT MANAGER/ENGINEER

 

Cost and feasibility study to modularize the cryogenic systems for a 6 million MTPY LNG plant. Module limitations were 5000 MT and capable of shipping through the Panama Canal . Process was using APC MCR process with frame six gas turbine compressors.

 

PROJECT ENGINEER

 

Study of existing production facilities and cost estimates to upgrade an existing oil fields located in Kazakstan for possible purchase by a western oil company. Study and conceptual design for a water flood to increase the production.

 

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

 

Advisor to USAID in Russia for oil and gas production equipment and LPG skid mounted plants.

 

FLUOR ARABIA LIMITED, AL KHOBAR, SAUDI ARABIA

 

PROJECT MANAGER

 

Northern Area Crude Expansion Program, Saudi Aramco

 

Project responsibility for the completion and commissioning of the mothballed Zuluf Offshore Gas Oil Separation Facilities. Had direct responsibility for inspection, evaluation and recondition of all mechanical equipment on two platforms. Supervised the recondition of pumps, compressors, gas turbine generators and miscellaneous equipment.

 

Construction Manager during modifications to piping, electrical and instrumentation systems. Direct responsibility for planning shut down and tie-in work to operating platforms.

 

PROJECT ENGINEER

 

Interface coordination between ISBL and OSBL for a polyproplene plant. Fluor Daniel was responsible for the construction of both the ISBL and OSBL and for the engineering design of the OSBL. Specific responsibilities were to coordinate the engineering design between the ISBL engineering contractor located in Europe , and Fluor Daniel design of the OSBL.

 

Project Engineering Manager of crude stabilization and loading facilities for high pour point crude located in Tunisia .

PROJECT ENGINEER

 

Responsible for all engineering and procurement activities for construction projects for BP Alaska's North Slope Project undertaken by the company's parent, Morrison Knudson. Coordinated the "lower 48" shipping activities with M-K Alaska requirements, and defined the scope of construction work with BP Alaska for M-K Alaska. Reported to the Chief Engineer of the Houston Division.

 

Two living facilities including life support systems for 500 men.
